What we’re about? In a nutshell, beautiful things.

We value the debris of history, that which those who went before us have left behind.

Some of the items you will find here show battle scars. Experts speak of ‘patina’ on certain artefacts. Others mark it ‘pre-loved’, a delightful term in our view, but we like to call our collection of treasures ‘Antiquriosa’. Some are antiques, some are vintage, some are curious, unusual artefacts. They all have one thing in common; they are not new.

Perfection, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. What seems hideous to one person could be priceless to the other who has been looking for the very thing for years, to complete their collection. You already know this of course, you found us. In the words of TS Eliot: ‘like a patient, etherised upon a table’ you will find each object photographed clearly, scars ‘n all, with accurate descriptions of its condition. If that doesn’t put you off, then maybe the price will, but we hope not. Your money will give us the opportunity to go and rescue more victims from damp cellars and dusty attics. Together, we can ensure their safety, at least for a little longer.
