This type of porcelain is known as blush ivory. What’s unusual about this particular item is that the design has been enhanced with a hand-painted image of a peacock. These type of little sugar sifters are usually all over ivory colour with a hint or a so-called ‘blush’ of darker colour. You will find such an item later on also here on our website.
There are no maker’s marks or silver marks anywhere on the top. We think it is silver-plated.
